Emma + James.
Having known the Herons for my entire life it was an absolute honour to be asked to document Emma and James’s big day on the farm that I spent lots of my childhood at. The day started off with a breakfast for the family and bridal party. Then Emma and James separated to different ends of the house to get ready. Looking at the forecast and seeing a 70% chance of rain jarred with the cloudless sky in the morning, which remained that way until about 3:20 pm- when you could see ominous thunderclouds rolling in overhead. The ceremony was originally scheduled for 4 pm, luckily guests were asked to arrive at 3:30 pm so the decision was made to bring it forward. It was short and sweet and completed just in the nick of time before the rain hit! The bad weather didn’t dampen any spirits on the dancefloor afterwards.
Thanks to the Herons and Duffs for having me- it really was a blast.
Thanks to Nura for 2nd shooting and working with the pesky groomsmen- I think they had a bit of fun.
